My Work.
The Arrival (Part 1)
Christmas 2024 called for a special video. We wanted to set the scene for the arrival of Christ. This played right before the band sang a Christmas Carol medley.
I wrote, directed, shot, and edited this piece. I loved it.
This was a project for Destiny Worship Center. Learn more about Destiny here
The Arrival (Part 2)
This was the second part of the special video we shot for Christmas 2024. We wanted to build anticipation for the upcoming birth of Christ. In fact, a new song titled “The Arrival” was played right after this video
I wrote, directed, shot, and edited this piece. I loved it.

Trust in God
It was time for a refresh of acoustic songs at Devoted City Church. So we did a quick and dirty setup on stage and created this for our online audience. I think it turned out great!

Baptism Stories
This one pulled on the heart strings! We wanted to capture what God is doing in the church by sharing three stories of baptism that all circled around God speaking to these people. I interviewed three people and stitched their stories together to create this video.

Abby + Logan Wedding
This is one of the sweetest couples our there. We had a blast shooting and editing this downtown wedding. This was an amazing opportunity and I think the final came out really great!
The Commencement
This was a fun fun fun project. I partnered with Fulcrum Productions to help pull off this amazing intro for March Madness 2023. I was able to grip and run a camera on this set.
Devoted Vision
We launched a year long campaign to be more Devoted. This recap video captured the heart behind the campaign and challenged viewers to live a life more devoted to Christ, his church, and it’s mission.

Pre/Post Slides
A crucial part of any church service is how to effectively communicate information in a way that is not overwhelming and boring. So, instead of opting for the boring slideshow I created these looping motion slides to share information in an engaging way.

Winter Countdown
How do you let people know that something is about to start? A countdown of course! This project was a fun spin on a traditional countdown. I animated the numbers to create an engaging, pleasant video!

Missing Peace Bump
This was a great project. This was created for a sermon series title “Missing Peace”. This series is all about how to find the peace that Jesus promises amist the chaos of life.

Jerome Lazarczyk Story
Jerome is such a great guy. He loves the Lord so much and it’s evident in his story. This was captured to reinforce Devoted City Church’s core value of Jesus First.

Build my Life | Devoted City Worship
This was recorded at Devoted City’s November 2023 worship night. The band was incredible and I think this turned out great!

The Son of Suffering
I loved this shoot. We wanted something simple, yet powerful for Easter 2022 and this video delivered. What you don’t see is the second half, where we opened the song up into a lyric video for a live band to take over. What a moment!

Baptism Promo
This was such a special time in our church. We had 87 baptisms at this point in the year and weren’t ready to slow down. This video served to recap everything that has been done as well as push people to get involved.

The Blessing
What a powerful, powerful song. We recorded this for a special family focused Sunday at Lifepointe where this was prayed over families. I am very happy with how this came out.

How We Rise Course
This was a fun project to work on! I partnered with Claudia Chan to create a course about workplace equality. This was part one of an online course that could be purchased by someone in corporate America.
This was a great opportunity for me to showcase my ability to create a clean, simple talking-head style look.
Christina Edwards’ Story
Christina has many, many fantastic life stories. This was just one of them. It was all about how an unplanned pregnancy reignited her faith and transformed her life.

Clarity of Mystery Bump
We had some fun with this one. This was for a series at Lifepointe called “The Clarity of Mystery”. This series was based on Colossians. In which, Paul referred to the mystery of the Gospel and how there is clarity through Christ. Hence, the clarity of mystery. So we really tried to play on that mysterious tone.

The Story I’ll Tell
What a special shoot. So this was shot as an Easter response song at Lifepointe Church. The worship leader in this (Ashley) told an incredible testimony about her journey to adopting her son. Her story was filled with waiting on God’s timing. We felt this song fit perfectly into her story.

Joy to the World
Christmas is always the time to put out something special. This year was no different! At Lifepointe, we wanted to do an intimate, in the round worship set. This was one of my favorites.
Our Wedding
This was such a special day. It was the day that I married my best friend. I am so grateful for Light Cannon Films! They captured some amazing things.
So we agreed that Light Cannon would shoot the wedding and give me the raw footage to edit (you know, I can’t shoot and edit my own wedding). Enjoy it!
The Bridge Countdown
For this project I was asked to create a new countdown video for The Bridge Church in Wilmington, NC. This project had three big elements to it: filming the B-roll, adding the countdown, and editing it all together.
My goal with this project was to capture the look and feel of The Bridge and present it in an energetic fashion that gets people excited for the service that is about to take place.
I think it came out great and I hope you enjoy it!
We the Church | Leland
For this project I was asked to travel to Port City Community Church’s Leland campus and capture what a Sunday looks like. You see, they are a non-perminate campus, meaning, they turn a school into a church then back into a school.
My goal was to capture the process of creating the church, the people that make it happen, and the people that come.
Take a look!
Active Church Intro
This year I was able to partner with Active Church (based in San Louis Obispo, CA). They wanted me to create a standard intro/roll-in that would serve as the introduction to every sermon uploaded online.
I asked for a few pictures of their church, congregation, worship — you know I wanted to represent the atmosphere of the church. I then put that all together and added music, effects, and transitions.
Tsunami Highlight
I had the amazing opportunity to work with Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC. I filmed the end of the year worship night for their middle school ministry, Tsunami. It was a spectacular night and we got a lot of great footage.
I created this for my media company Sermon Works. We help ministries who don't have the staff capability to produce things like this.
Sermon Works Reel
I have had an amazing year with Sermon Works. We’ve been all over the place filming for churches. From worship nights, to announcements, to baptism stories it’s been a blast.
This reel highlights some of my favorite moments from this past year. Take a look!
Pepsi Course Intro
This was a course that I filmed and edited for SHE Globl, a Diversity and Inclusion company. The course will be shown to all employees at Pepsi Co to further educate them on diversity.
I worked very closely to SHE Globl’s CEO to create the final product. After many rounds of revisions we landed on the video you see!
Distorted History
On November 10, 1898, the only successful coup d'etat in U.S history occurred. A white mob killed 60-300 African Americans. Yet, in the city there are monuments for both sides.
AMPED
In 2018 my company, Sermon Works, was hired to create a recap video for St. John’s Episcopal Church’s Vacation Bible School. This project was a blast! We ran around all week capturing these kids playing and learning. We then took the footage and turned it into a highlight reel capturing the best moments from the week. This video was then played at each of the Sunday services and used to promote next year’s VBS.
Protégé
I had a lot of fun working on this project! This film was created to inform high school students about a summer internship at Port City Community Church called Protege. The production director, Carson Goslee, gave me free range to make this anyway I saw fit. Therefore, my goal was to make this as informative and interesting as possible for anyone who might want to participate. I hope you like it!
Half United
I got the chance to work with an amazing organization called Half United! They are a fashion brand that partners with organizations to feed those in need. Check out what they are about in the video and maybe feed a child yourself at HalfUnited.com
Who You Say I Am Lyric Video
Recently I was asked to create a lyric video for the song “Who You Say I Am” by Hillsong Worship. Creating lyric videos is one of my favorite things to do because the possibilities are endless!
Christmas Trivia
These Christmas-themed walk-in slides were used by The Crossing Church in Quincy, IL. They included informational slides as well as trivia slides to keep guests busy.
I was given a list of trivia questions and answers, then I was asked to create something visually stimulating to keep everyone interested
Downtown Ronin
So there isn't a specific point to this video. I was hanging out downtown with some friends and shot some cool stuff, so I thought I'd share it!
